The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for the UI/UX design of the moneybase app and will have plenty of room for career growth. We are looking for a person who can work closely with the development team and product owners to design the interface of our native apps in IOS and Android. 

The role involves defining interaction models, user task flows, and UI specifications. Communicate scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs to stakeholders.


The role is available at our HQ in Malta, we will also offer a relocation package.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Research, design and refine user experiences within specified product requirements
  • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
  • Develop high level mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas
  • Attending sprint meetings and obtaining feedback from team
  • Working with the product owner to refine initial designs based on feedback gathered
  • Analyse the usability of existing products and provide suggestions for change
  • Be responsible for advocating users in a fast-paced business environment
  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
  • Collaborate with other designers to evangelize new interface guidelines and design patterns

Job requirements

Experience & Education Requirements

  • Minimum 3 year of experience in UI, experience with pixel-perfect UI and web and mobile design
  • Have a solid experience designing mobile applications for enterprise
  • Be able to create beautiful UI designs
  • Proficiency with design tools & technologies
  • Usability testing experience is considered an asset
  • Up to date with the latest UI/UX trends, best practices techniques, and technologies

Skills Requirements

  • Working knowledge of responsive design and grid principles.
  • An inclination for open-minded, critical thinking to solve challenging interfaces
  • Strong typography, layout and visual design skills.
  • Strong team orientation and collaborative nature.

  • Ability to clearly express oneself both in person and in writing
  • Fluency in presenting ideas and work
  • Preferably in Banking, Investments or related areas.
