As part of the HR team at Calamatta Cuschieri Moneybase, the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will take the lead in sourcing and attracting top talent to support the company’s ambitious global expansion plans. Reporting to the Head of HR and working alongside another Talent Acquisition Specialist, the selected individual will be responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment processes, with a particular focus on IT and technology roles. This role also carries responsibility for enhancing the company’s employer branding strategy, helping position the group as an employer of choice across all operating markets.

Job requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the full recruitment lifecycle across local and international markets, from workforce planning and role definition to sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiation.

  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies with a strong focus on tech and IT talent, utilising platforms such as LinkedIn, Stack Overflow, GitHub, and relevant job boards.

  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles, particularly in the areas of software development, product, data, and information security.

  • Act as a recruitment advisor to hiring managers by providing market insights, benchmarking data, and interview support.

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand international hiring needs and develop region-specific recruitment strategies.

  • Establish partnerships with foreign universities, coding academies, and recruitment agencies to support talent attraction across jurisdictions.

  • Remain updated on international recruitment best practices and compliance requirements in target markets.

  • Collaborate with the HR and Marketing teams to create and share content that highlights the company’s culture, technology stack, and career opportunities.

  • Ensure consistent and engaging presence on social media platforms, career sites, and employer review sites.

  • Monitor candidate experience and employer reputation, proposing improvements based on analytics and feedback.

  • Work closely with the existing Talent Acquisition Specialist to ensure efficient coordination of recruitment activities and excellent candidate experience.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Head of HR on recruitment KPIs, pipeline status, and hiring progress.

  • Conduct post-recruitment reviews to evaluate effectiveness of hiring channels and strategies.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a strong background in hiring IT and technical professionals.

  • Proven ability to manage complex, high-volume recruitment pipelines across different geographies.

  • Solid understanding of modern sourcing tools, recruitment analytics, and global talent markets.

  • Experience in employer branding and recruitment marketing is an advantage.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and recruitment platforms.

  • Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
