We are currently working on a number ambitious and exciting projects that will catapult moneybase internationally and we are utilising the very latest technologies to get there. As we continue to grow sustainably, a new position has arisen for a Product Operations Manager reporting directly to the CTO.

Summary of Position:

We are looking for a Product Operations Manager ensures that product teams are aligned, efficient, and data-driven in delivering high-quality releases on time. This role acts as the connective tissue between product, engineering, architecture, Devops, and business leadership enabling smooth planning, execution, and feedback cycles. With a focus on operational excellence, the Product Operations Manager drives process adherence, optimizes release management, and establishes performance tracking mechanisms that enhance both team output and product impact.

The role requires a proactive leader who can ensure the standard practices across multiple teams, streamline communication, and enforce accountability while enabling continuous improvement. By balancing strategic oversight with tactical execution, the Product Operations Manager empowers teams to deliver impactful products at scale while minimising operational risks

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Own internal release communications: timelines, changes, known issues, and support readiness

  • Act as liaison and point of reference with product manager, developers, architecture team and customer support

  • Facilitate cross-functional planning rituals such as release retros and roadmap reviews

  • Publish regular release reports: volume, failure rate, incident response

  • Coordinate with stakeholders such as marketing, and upper management for high-stakes releases

  • Ensure adherence to company processes by all teams

  • Build dashboards to track delivery metrics (velocity, release success rate, launch ROI)

  • Identify bottlenecks in product delivery and implement tangible improvements swiftly

  • Create standardised go-to-market checklists and launch frameworks, and ensuring readiness documentation, risk assessments, and signoffs are complete

  • Define and manage a centralised release calendar across business units using JIRA

  • Coordinate deployment windows, blackout periods, and change freezes with infrastructure teams.

  • Facilitate release planning meetings involving product, QA, engineering, DevOps and support

  • Monitor release execution and post-deployment validation (especially critical in high-risk environments like payments or fraud detection).

  • Drive incident resolution processes during or after a release

  • Lead blameless post-mortems, document learnings, and enforce continuous improvement

Job requirements

  • At least 5 years’ experience in product operations, program management, or release management within technology-driven organisations.

  • Proven track record of managing release cycles, deployment calendars, and cross-functional coordination in complex environments (preferably SaaS, fintech, or payments).

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product delivery workflows.

  • Hands-on expertise with JIRA, GitHub, SharePoint, and similar tools.

  • Demonstrated ability to build dashboards and reporting frameworks that influence executive decision-making.

  • Experience managing incident resolution and post-mortem processes in high-risk product domains.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate conversations from engineers to C-level executives.

  • A process-driven mindset with the ability to enforce SOPs and improve team accountability without stifling innovation.

  • Strong communication, organisational, and facilitation skills with experience leading large cross-functional planning ritual
