Position Summary:

The Lead UI/UX Designer will be responsible for the UI/UX design of the Moneybase platform and will work closely with the development team and product managers to design the interface of the Moneybase platform across our native apps and web channel.

As a Lead UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for leading the design process and ensuring the delivery of exceptional user experiences and visually appealing interfaces. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create an intuitive, efficient, and engaging Fintech platform.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead the design team by setting clear design direction, providing mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

• Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.

• Act as a design evangelist, advocating for user-centred design principles and demonstrating the value of UX/UI within the organization.

• Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviours, and motivations, and translate findings into actionable design insights.

• Analyse user feedback, metrics, and usability testing results to iterate and improve the user experience continuously.

• Generate innovative ideas and concepts through brainstorming sessions, workshops, and design thinking methodologies.

• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and design mock-ups to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively.

• Create visually stunning and functional user interfaces that align with brand guidelines and enhance the overall user experience.

• Design high-fidelity mock-ups, iconography, typography, and other visual elements to communicate design intent and direction.

• Collaborate with graphic designers and illustrators to create visually compelling assets as needed.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and goals.

• Communicate design concepts, rationale, and solutions effectively through presentations, design reviews, and documentation.

• Solicit feedback from stakeholders and iterate on designs based on feedback and usability testing results.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Work closely with project managers to define project scopes, milestones, and deliverables, and ensure successful project execution

• Bachelor's degree in Design, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.

• Proven experience (5 years) in designing web and mobile applications with a particular focus on investment-related functions and systems.

• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar tools.

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

• Up to date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies

• Experienced in Fintech, Banking, Investments or related areas
