Role Overview:

The Finance Regulatory Reporting Officer, will be working closely with the finance team, the central bank and other stakeholders to handle various regulatory reporting, interpreting evolving regulations and working closely with local regulators, and implementing strong reporting frameworks to support our growth.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Take the lead in preparing and submitting financial reports to regulatory authorities on time.

  • Keep up to date with changes in regulations and assess how they affect reporting duties.

  • Create and maintain clear procedures to ensure financial reports are accurate and compliant.

  • Work closely with other teams to gather, check, and match financial data for reporting.

  • Offer clear advice and explanations on reporting rules to team members and other departments.

  • Communicate directly with regulators and external auditors during reviews or inspections.

  • Support daily finance operations and help with other tasks as needed.

Job requirements

  • Be in possession of a tertiary level educational qualification within accounting/finance or related subjects

  • Experience in financial reporting or a similar role would be preferred.

  • Advanced experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.

  • Possess analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Demonstrate excellent project management skills

Skill Requirements

  • Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment

  • Be able to work under pressure to meet tight reporting deadlines

  • Be highly organised, proactive, and able to work on own initiative

  • Have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a dynamic environment

  • Present a friendly, outgoing and positive attitude
