Job description
Calamatta Cuschieri Moneybase plc is a leading diversified financial services group that was founded in the Maltese financial services industry in 1971. We currently employ 200 people spread across 3 core business lines namely Investment Services, Payment Services, and Fund administration services.
The selected person is expected to be detail-oriented, have strong problem-solving skills, work comfortably under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines.
To ensure success, the Accounts Clerk should have excellent communication skills, be highly organised and have attention to detail in their work. The person should also have the ability to work on their own initiative and work as part of a team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily bank reconciliations for various bank accounts.
- Prepare daily reconciliations of card transactions.
- Prepare supplier reconciliations and process supplier invoices on procurement system.
- Prepare payments to suppliers.
- Perform daily analysis of various system reports to ensure transactions are reconciled.
- Accurately enter and maintain financial records in the accounting systems.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for internal and external parties.
- Assist the Finance team with any other ad hoc request.
- Assist in year-end audit requests
Job requirements
Experience & Educational Requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software, preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Infor Sunsystems
- Experience in the financial services industry will be considered a plus
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word will be considered a plus
