The Talent Acquisition Specialist will join the CC group HR Team supporting our offices based in Malta. One will be responsible for the full cycle coordination of our talent acquisition including talent sourcing, creation of advertising through various channels, headhunting, conducting interviews and providing recommendations to hiring managers.

Job requirements

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Managing the entire recruitment process, from job evaluation and sourcing to offer stage.
  • Continuous social media and job board advertising to promote our open roles, positioning Calamatta Cuschieri and Moneybase as the Employer of Choice
  • Talent sourcing candidates through various channels such as LinkedIn, researching and contacting local/foreign colleges/universities, job boards, careers fairs etc.
  • Screening CVs and providing recommendations to hiring teams as appropriate
  • Management of the recruitment platform including its recruitment reporting function
  • Tracking and analysing data through social media platforms and our HRIS to provide tangible insights into our recruitment processes and evaluate how we attract talent including costs and evaluation of ROI
  • Interviewing applicants as required, analysing responses and supporting hiring teams with selection decisions
  • Following up with hiring managers for candidate feedback and relaying this to job applicants and agencies
  • Be a brand ambassador and ensure all information provided to applicants and newly hired employees is accurate and correct
  • Acts as a single point of contact for the employees and managers within respective Teams
  • Responsible for keeping the organigrams of respective teams up to date all the time
  • Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management
  • Regularly set meetings with Head of Departments and proactively discuss issues related to recruitment, staff performance and development, and ways to improve current systems related to employees
  • Support Head of Departments in the day-to-day HR issues, providing HR guidance when appropriate
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions)
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation
  • Coordinate learning and development initiatives across the group

Experience & Education Requirements

  • MQF level 5 of education in HR or related field
  • Ideally holds 3+ years of recruitment experience within the Fintech industry
  • Hands-on experience on ATS (applicant tracking system)

  • Possess exceptional communication skills and be passionate about recruitment
  • Used to working in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to identify top talent and assess a candidate’s attitude, character and skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise accordingly
  • Be discrete and capable of safeguarding privacy and confidentiality
  • Ability to keep up to date with current occupational and labour market trends
