Due to growth, a new opportunity has arisen for a support engineer. Selected candidate will form part of a forming part of our Fintech Arm which employs over 40 IT specialists. and will also form part of the CC Group which employs 165+ people, was established in 1972, and is a leader in financial services.

The role provides the flexibility of working remotely or otherwise to work from our 2,000Sqm HQ which also offers gym facilities available for use throughout the day. We have presence in Malta, Lithuania, Slovenia, and in many other countries around the world.

Responsibilities

• Administer various software developed by our in-house development team
• Solve challenging problems on a daily basis
• Perform in-depth root cause analysis of current problems
• Perform permanent fixes on the current code base
• Participate in on-call roster outside normal working hours

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of various programming languages including VB.NET, C#
• Knowledge of monitoring platforms like Kibana , ElasticSearch and Datadog
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
• Basic knowledge of infrastructure administration
• Knowledge within financial and investment services industry is considered an asset
• Knowledge of noSQL databases is considered an asset
• Familiarity with REST API’s
