The Fintech division is made up of a multinational team of over 50 IT specialists who thrive on a challenge and are always looking at developing the next big thing. We are currently working on some very exciting projects that include investment and banking both of which are on an international scale. We are utilizing the very latest technologies to get us there.


In view of our growth, we are now looking for a Risk Officer with a Transaction Monitoring background and knowledge of Power BI.



  • Analyse and monitor operational risk events as well as transactional data
  • Contribute to the development of risk dashboards by working closely with the various departments within the company
  • Support the enhancement of the risk management framework by contributing with ideas and IT skills
  • Support senior management by providing data and reports as required
  • Build a good understanding of the regulatory requirements applicable to payment service providers
  • Follow up actively on open-risk items/treatments and liaise with the relevant stakeholders

Requirements

Experience & Education Requirements

  • Ideally holds a tertiary level of education within Banking, Finance, or IT.
  • Good knowledge of Power BI
  • Highly computer literate with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Ideally holds the knowledge of Microsoft SQL databases
  • Ideally holds the knowledge of risk within banking operations

  • Excellent written and oral skills in English
  • Possess a high moral character and professional integrity
  • Meticulous attention to detail and highly accurate
  • A self-starter that enjoys a team-oriented approach
