Investment Operations Officer

Job description

The Investment Operations Officer will assist the Investment Management team in performing all ancillary tasks related to the investment process, regulatory and customer reporting and in maintaining excellent relationships with various internal and external parties.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Running of Prospectus/IC monitors for Funds, Discretionary Portfolios and Managed Fund Portfolios
  • Checking of daily NAVs and submission of trade blotters
  • Handling of administrative tasks involved in the management of Discretionary Portfolios including the setting up of clients’ accounts, compilation of quarterly DPM reports and ongoing maintenance
  • Handling preparation of IC and Board packs and recording of IC minutes
  • Compilation of monthly factsheets for Funds and Managed Fund Portfolios
  • Calculation of Total Expense Ratio (TER) workings and compilation of Key Investor Information Document) KIIDs and ancillary information
  • Uploading of factsheets on website
  • Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with clients and counterparties
  • Maintaining unit statistics and updated records
  • Assisting in the redaction and maintenance of processes and procedures
  • Assisting in regulatory filings
  • Assisting in the compilation of financial statements for Funds
  • Assisting other team members in other operational tasks which may be assigned by management from time to time

Requirements

Experience & Education Requirements

  • MQF level 5 of education
  • Ideally has a good understanding and experience in the area of investments

Skills Requirements

  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel and Word
  • Attention to detail, proactive and focused
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to consistently meet deadlines
  • Be able to work in a team and willing to learn new skills
