The individual will form part of the Fund Services team and will be responsible for assisting with the servicing of a portfolio of funds and other structures. They will lead a team of Fund Administrators of various levels as well as support senior management with other tasks.



Duties & Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for client queries in the absence of his/her manager.
  • Coaching Senior Fund Administrators with training of junior team members within his/her team.
  • Ensuring adherence to documented procedures and policies to provide complete, accurate and timely fund administration services to clients
  • Liaise closely with senior management to highlight any specific team requirements to ensure deadlines are met in a timely manner
  • Client contact in absence of his/her manager
  • Responsible for their Team’s work and deliverables
  • Reviewing procedures and assisting senior management to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Testing of new systems and operational flows if required
  • Assist senior management in recruiting and training new members of staff
  • Perform NAV reviews when required, or in the absence of the Senior Fund Administrators
  • Working on ad-hoc internal projects when necessary

Requirements

Experience & Education Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Senior Fund Administrator/Accountant position
  • Ideally in possession of a Degree in the field of accounts, and/or Banking & Finance or any other degree with pertinent qualifications
  • Understanding of various securities and other financial instruments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications especially Microsoft Excel and PDF
